This policy explains what personal data THECOMMERCE Digital Agency collects through thecommerce.gr, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
The website thecommerce.gr is operated by ΜΠΟΥΡΗ Σ. - ΜΥΛΩΝΙΔΗΣ Κ. Ο.Ε. (trade name THECOMMERCE Digital Marketing, brand THECOMMERCE Digital Agency), Fidiou 9, 10678 Athens, Greece. VAT EL802146441, ΓΕΜΗ 170887803000.

2. What we collect
When you send us a project brief or contact us: your name, email, company, phone, website, the services you are interested in, budget range, timing and anything you write in your message.
When you join The Studio Dispatch newsletter: your email address.
When you browse the site: technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, how you arrived (for example from Google or an ad) and actions such as form submissions. This is collected with cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include it in your messages.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
Reply to your brief or message and prepare a proposal: steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Send The Studio Dispatch newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe in one click from any issue.
Measure how the site is used and improve it: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time by clicking Reject in the cookie banner.
Measure and improve our Google advertising: our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time by clicking Reject in the cookie banner.
Measure visits and enquiries that come from our Facebook and Instagram ads: our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Keep the site secure and working: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Meet legal and tax obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under data processing terms:
Framer (website hosting and forms)
Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads)
Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, for measuring ads on Facebook and Instagram)
Our email and newsletter provider, for The Studio Dispatch
Public authorities, only when the law requires it
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for these purposes:
Necessary: to make the site work and remember your cookie choice. Always on.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4, to understand which pages work. On unless you reject it.
Marketing: Google Ads, to measure and improve our campaigns. On unless you reject it.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API: measure visits and enquiries from our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can object at any time by writing to info@thecommerce.gr, and you can limit ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
When you first visit, a banner tells you about these cookies. Click Reject to switch off analytics and Google Ads cookies. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
6. How long we keep it
Briefs and contact messages: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. Then we keep what the contract and tax law require.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or move your data, to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@thecommerce.gr and we will reply within one month.
If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr), Kifisias 1-3, 11523 Athens.
8. Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us passwords or payment details by email or through the site.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
